This is an original artwork (acrylic and ink on canvas) of the Carrera del Darro in Granada, Spain. This is without a doubt one of the loveliest streets the city has to offer, although it can get rather busy as a result. This riverside walk leads from the town centre to the foot of the Alhambra on one side and the Albaicín on the other. The cobbled street is lined with bars, shops and pretty houses and punctuated with bridges – perfect for taking a breather and watching the world go by or cat-spotting on the riverbanks below.

I made this painting specially for my 2017 solo exhibition entitled “Cautivada por Granada” showing in the Enrique Seijas Gallery, Calle Frailes, 30, Granada (Spain).
